Le projet qui est en train d\u2019\u00eatre mat\u00e9rialis\u00e9 consiste en la construction, en cinq ans, de 900 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires de quais et d\u2019un Terminal vraquier de 36 hectares, y compris la fourniture de tous les \u00e9quipements de manutention.<\/p><p>Il s\u2019agit globalement de la construction\u00a0:<\/p><ul><li>d\u2019un quai sur 450 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires (quai 53 et 54)\u00a0;<\/li><li>d\u2019un b\u00e2timent administratif de 4.000 m2\u00a0;<\/li><li>de 4 magasins de capacit\u00e9 cumul\u00e9e 21.500 m2\u00a0;<\/li><li>d\u2019un atelier de 3.250 m2 pour la maintenance du mat\u00e9riel\u00a0;<\/li><li>de silos de stockage avec convoyeurs d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 120.000 tonnes\u00a0;<\/li><li>et des \u00e9quipements de manutention des marchandises depuis la calle des navires jusqu\u2019au dispositif de stockage et de livraison aux clients.<\/li><\/ul><p>Le projet int\u00e8gre \u00e9galement la construction des voiries et chemin de fer, des pipes pour gaz et un syst\u00e8me de lutte contre les incendies, pour ne citer que ces \u00e9quipements-l\u00e0.<\/p><p>Le financement du projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le 28 mai 2025 par l&rsquo;entreprise de projet, Africa Ports Developement (APD) au cours d&rsquo;une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie pr\u00e9sid\u00e9e ce par le Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Port Autonome de Douala (PAD), Cyrus Ngo&rsquo;o, au si\u00e8ge de l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 Bonanjo.<\/p><p>D\u2019un co\u00fbt total de 282 milliards de FCFA, ce projet strat\u00e9gique marque une nouvelle \u00e9tape dans la modernisation du Port de Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un partenariat public-priv\u00e9 (PPP) de type BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) permettant un financement innovant et durable.<\/p><p>Il sera r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en plusieurs phases, dont la premi\u00e8re, d\u2019un investissement d\u2019environ 97 milliards de FCFA (147 millions d\u2019euros)\u00a0mobilis\u00e9s pour la construction d\u2019un terre-plein de 12 hectares (sur les 36 hectares pr\u00e9vus) devant accueillir le terminal compos\u00e9 de plusieurs autres infrastructures.<\/p><p><em>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019accostage du premier navire vraquier est envisag\u00e9 en 2028, donnant ainsi vie \u00e0 la promesse faite ici \u00e0 Douala, en 2011, par le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, indique M. Richard Wissam, ADG de Africa Ports Developement.<\/p><p>Pour r\u00e9aliser cette importante infrastructure, APD s\u2019est attach\u00e9e les services de g\u00e9ants du secteur des infrastructures maritimes. Le groupement SOMAGEC \/ Jean Negri pour les travaux maritimes, SEG Contracting pour les infrastructures et les b\u00e2timents, WITHSTEEL pour les constructions m\u00e9talliques et DHL Global Forwarding \/ DGF pour les op\u00e9rations logistiques du terminal.<\/p><p><em>\u00ab\u00a0\u00c0 travers la r\u00e9alisation de cet important projet, la rive droite du Wouri est donc appel\u00e9e \u00e0 tr\u00e8s court terme, \u00e0 devenir un nouveau p\u00f4le d\u2019essor, un prolongement strat\u00e9gique de notre plateforme portuaire, pens\u00e9 pour la performance, con\u00e7u pour l\u2019attractivit\u00e9, et orient\u00e9 vers une comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 durable.
