Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 au lancement, le 11 juillet 2025, au lancement du projet d\u2019extension du Terminal \u00e0 conteneurs du Port de Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri. Le projet \u00e9valu\u00e9 \u00e0 55 milliards de FCFA TTC, vise la construction de 250 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires de quai suppl\u00e9mentaire, l\u2019am\u00e9nagement de 7,9 hectares de terre-plein arri\u00e8re et la cr\u00e9ation de 1.200 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires de voies de RTG (portique automatis\u00e9 sur pneu).<\/p><p>Les travaux seront ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s en trois phases sur une p\u00e9riode de 27 mois. La premi\u00e8re phase du projet consiste au d\u00e9placement de trois docks flottants de 10.000, 3.500 et 500 tonnes, et \u00e0 la construction d\u2019une estacade de 54 m\u00e8tres accompagn\u00e9e d\u2019une aire volante de 8 m\u00e8tres de large.<\/p><p>Cette phase sera suivie par la construction d\u2019un quai de 150 m\u00e8tres avec retour \u00e9quivalent, le dragage de s\u00e9diments et le remblaiement de 180.000 m\u00b3 de sable. Enfin, la troisi\u00e8me phase consistera \u00e0 la construction de 400 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires de rail, de voies de portique, la voirie portuaire et ses plateformes, ainsi que l&rsquo;installation des \u00e9quipements d&rsquo;\u00e9clairage et de lutte contre l&rsquo;incendie.<\/p><p>La construction du Poste \u00e0 quai 17 s&rsquo;inscrit dans le cadre de l&rsquo;extension du terminal \u00e0 conteneurs du Port de Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri et int\u00e8gre la premi\u00e8re phase de son sch\u00e9ma directeur 2020-2050. Ces am\u00e9nagements porteront la longueur totale du terminal \u00e0 au moins 1.000 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires. Ils permettront \u00e0 la R\u00e9gie du terminal \u00e0 conteneurs S.A (RTC SA) d\u2019am\u00e9liorer ses capacit\u00e9s en passant d\u2019un traitement de 380.000 tonnes EVP en 2024, \u00e0 un
