Paul Biya, la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de pose de la premi\u00e8re de la d\u2019une Zone d\u2019activit\u00e9s industrialo-portuaires de Dibamba, au lieudit Missol\u00e8 1 (ZAIPD), \u00e0 un jet de pierre du Port de Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri. Quelques mois auparavant, le 30 septembre de l\u2019an de gr\u00e2ce 2024, le Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Port Autonome de Douala, Cyrus Ngo&rsquo;o, et le Pr\u00e9sident Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Groupe ARISE IIP, Gagan Gupta paraphaient la convention de partenariat portant conception, financement, am\u00e9nagement et gestion de ladite zone. Plus qu\u2019une convention, il s\u2019agissait de l\u2019acte de naissance d\u2019une promesse faite par le Pr\u00e9sident-candidat Paul Biya, le 6 octobre 2011 sur les rives du Wouri. \u00ab\u00a0Nous envisageons (\u2026) l\u2019am\u00e9nagement d\u2019une zone logistique moderne et int\u00e9gr\u00e9e autour du port et de l\u2019a\u00e9roport afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 de la cha\u00eene logistique et l\u2019implantation de nouvelles activit\u00e9s dans de bonnes conditions\u00a0; le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un technop\u00f4le et de parcs d\u2019activit\u00e9s industrielles et touristiques modernes pour contribuer \u00e0 une reconversion de l\u2019\u00e9conomie locale face aux mutations \u00e9conomiques observ\u00e9es aussi bien au plan local qu\u2019international\u00a0\u00bb, promettait-il alors.<\/p><p>La ZAIPD de Missol\u00e8 1 est un projet structurant majeur. Il va permettre d\u2019accro\u00eetre les capacit\u00e9s du Port de Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri, avec un impact direct sur le l\u2019\u00e9conomie de la ville et du pays en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Il va contribuer \u00e0 d\u00e9congestionner la circulation au niveau de l\u2019entr\u00e9e Est de la capitale \u00e9conomique.<\/p><p>En 5 ans, il s\u2019agit de cr\u00e9er un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me industriel et logistique int\u00e9gr\u00e9, r\u00e9parti en trois composantes\u00a0: une plateforme industrielle de 350 hectares, une zone logistique multimodale de 100 hectares, et une zone r\u00e9sidentielle de 50 hectares. Le projet va toucher et dynamiser tr\u00e8s fortement neuf (9) secteurs prioritaires\u00a0: l\u2019agro-industrie, la fili\u00e8re bois, le textile, les mines, l\u2019\u00e9nergie, la construction, le num\u00e9rique, la chimie et la pharmacie. Selon les estimations, la zone industrialo-portuaire va g\u00e9n\u00e9rer 15.000 emplois directs.<\/p><p>Les terres agricoles, qui devront \u00eatre multipli\u00e9es pour fournir les intrants \u00e0 la zone industrielle, vont g\u00e9n\u00e9rer environ 500.000 emplois directs et indirects. La transformation au Cameroun de la production nationale de coton, de bois, du cacao, de la bauxite et de fer\u2026 assurera une transformation \u00e9conomique radicale des zones du pays o\u00f9 le ch\u00f4mage des jeunes a favoris\u00e9 la persistance des crises s\u00e9curitaires, notamment le Grand Nord (coton et bauxite), le Centre, le Sud et l\u2019Est (Bois, Agriculture, minerai de fer), l\u2019Ouest et le Sud-Ouest (Caf\u00e9, Cacao), etc.<\/p><p>Au plan strat\u00e9gique, ce projet est une r\u00e9ponse directe aux grands axes de la Strat\u00e9gie nationale de d\u00e9veloppement 2020 &#8211; 2030 (SND30) du Gouvernement, qui pr\u00e9conise la transformation structurelle de l\u2019\u00e9conomie nationale, \u00e0 travers le d\u00e9veloppement des industries et des services destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la transformation locale des mati\u00e8res
